Workshop: Population in the Asian Imagination

Workshop: Population in the Asian Imagination

19 AUG 2024 – 1.30pm-5pm
The Laureate Centre, Morven Brown, Lv. 3, Room 353, UNSW

Synopsis

This workshop brings together scholars working on Asia. The region has seen a rich body of work on issues like fertility, family size, and migration. We discuss the current trends of analyses emerging from and around the region. We also question whether demographic discussions on population have limited our understanding of the region and its impact on the world.
